noMeiryoUI is a free, open-source system font customizer for Windows 8.1/10/11. It's tiny (under 1 MB), portable, no install.
You can change the font globally or per area — title bars, dialogs, menus. If you don't like the result, one click restores the default. Beyond swapping fonts, you can adjust size and apply bold, italic, underline or strikethrough.
