Windows has a built-in clipboard: press Win + V to enable it. The downside is a limited number of entries, and the history is cleared after shutdown.
That's why I previously recommended the enhanced clipboard tool CopyQ, and I also run Ditto alongside it as a backup.
Ditto is an open-source Windows clipboard enhancer that auto-saves copied content (text and images) and lets you search the history. It fits scenarios like gathering scattered snippets across documents (e.g. meeting notes) or reusing text quickly, and supports selecting multiple entries with Ctrl then exporting via right-click.
